-----
Hermione Merry is a Castlemaine based video and installation artist. Her practice is collaborative. She is currently in development for three new works. There is No Shame in Delight commissioned for Castlemaine State Festival with artist Helen Mathwin, Everyone Goes to Heaven in the Clothes They Die In,  a work for 6 pianos by David Gagliardi and Screens Directed by Chris Kohn.

Hermione's practice centres around an exploration of the unknown, utilising symbolism, magic realism, the theatrical and the filmic to explore the mysteries of identity, space, place and emotion.

A frequent guest artist with companies such as Rawcus, Hermione seeks to expand her practice through collaboration with community and cultural development organisations and artists.

Hermione is an artist, filmmaker, teacher, producer and mother.
